Switching your credit card on a PhotoModeler Subscription

If you have a PhotoModeler Subscription that is being charged on a credit card that you need to change (the old card is canceled and you have a new card, or the expiry date is changed) please follow these instructions.  There are two cases: a) the subscription is still active and not yet renewed, and b) the subscription went on Hold because a renewal attempt was made on an invalid card.

Instructions for when the subscription is still active

  1. Log into your account:  photomodeler.com/my-account/
  2. Add the new credit card on the Payment Methods tab.
  3. Click on the My Subscriptions tab. Click on the View button of the subscription you need to update. The screen will display the subscription and a “Change payment” button.
  4. Click on the Change payment button. The screen will now display PhotoModeler Store Checkout and it will list the credit cards on your account.
  5. Select the credit card to be used. Click on the Change payment method button. The screen will return to the PhotoModeler Store Account page.
  6. Click on the My Subscriptions tab. You should see your subscription id shown with the new credit card being used for payment.
  7. The next time the subscription is renewed automatically, the new credit card will be used.

Instructions for when the subscription is on hold

  1. Contact sales@photomodeler.com as they will need to set your subscription to ‘Active’, and await their reply.
  2. Log into your account:  photomodeler.com/my-account/
  3. Add the new credit card on the Payment Methods tab.
  4. Click on the My Subscriptions tab. Click on the View button of the subscription you need to update. The screen will display the subscription and a “Change payment” button.
  5. Click on the Change payment button. The screen will now display PhotoModeler Store Checkout and it will list the credit cards on your account.
  6. Select the credit card to be used. Click on the Change payment method button. The screen will return to the PhotoModeler Store Account page.
  7. Click on the My Subscriptions tab. You should see your subscription id shown with the new credit card being used for payment.
  8. Send an email to sales@photomodeler.com and a new order will be processed using the new card. The subscription will automatically use the new card on the following renewal.
