Switching your credit card on a PhotoModeler Subscription

If you have a PhotoModeler Subscription that is being charged on a credit card that you need to change (the old card is canceled and you have a new card, or the expiry date is changed) please follow these instructions.  There are two cases: a) the subscription is still active and not yet renewed, and b) the subscription went on Hold because a renewal attempt was made on an invalid card.

Instructions for when the subscription is still active

  1. Log into your account:  photomodeler.com/my-account/
  2. Click on the My Subscriptions tab. Click on the View button of the subscription you need to update. The screen will display the subscription and a “Change payment” button.
  3. Click on the Change payment button. The screen will now display PhotoModeler Store Checkout.
  4. Select Use a new card and enter in the credit card for the subscription and click Submit.
  5. The next time the subscription is renewed automatically, the new credit card will be used.
  6. To check which credit card is used for the subscription, click on the Payment Methods tab from your account.

Instructions for when the subscription is on hold

  1. Log into your account:  photomodeler.com/my-account/
  2. Click on the Orders tab. Click on the Pay button of the subscription order that is Pending Payment. The screen will now display the PhotoModeler Store Checkout.
  3. Check the terms and conditions checkbox.
  4. Select Use a new card and enter in the credit card for the subscription and click Submit.
  5. If the payment is approved, the subscription will be renewed, and the order will be processed.
  6. The next time the subscription is renewed automatically, the new credit card will be used.
  7. To check which credit card is used for the subscription, click on the Payment Methods tab from your account.
