Coded Target Project with Many Unsolved Photos
An issue that can happen with weak or incorrectly setup Coded Target projects is when a large percent of the photos in the project do not solve (that is have the Red X in the corner). There can be a number of reasons for this. This summary article touches on the most common reasons.
| What | Why | How to Fix |
| Overlap Gap | Too few targets in photos or poor overlap between photos. | Split into multiple projects or retake, adding more photos and angles. |
| Duplicated Targets | Targets were moved to a new location. | Split into 2 projects or retake photos. |
| Poor Target Spread | Some photos have targets in one a small area. | Retake photos with added targets, or ignore poor photos. |
| Poor Photography | Lighting or focus issue. | Retake photos with good lighting and a steady hand, or ignore photos. |
