PhotoModeler 2011 is the natural result of our goal to bring the most powerful and yet easy-to-use photo-based modeling and measuring tool to the industry. Each new major release of PhotoModeler, from version 1 to version 2011, has introduced a number of leading new features and at the same time made positive steps in ease of use.

Our goals for the major PhotoModeler 2010 development were:

• To improve speed of core algorithms.
• To add the new SmartMatch feature to Scanner.
• To add many user-requested features.
• To improve the tools used to judge quality and debug problems in projects.
• To improve interaction with external CAD, rendering and mapping tools.

The PhotoModeler 2011 release builds on the major 2010 release with a number of fixes and improvements. It is a free upgrade for 2010 customers.
