Large Plotted Calibration Sheet (product code "cals1 or cals2")
Professionally Printed Calibration sheet for use with PhotoModeler's Camera Calibrator Program. Approximately 90cm X 90cm / 36" by 36", printed on a CAD plotter. Note: The PhotoModeler package also includes this pattern in the form of a PDF file that you can print or plot at any size.
The size of the calibration sheet is important as you should calibrate using a grid that is close to the actual size of the object in your projects. You can get large grids using the slide projector method but if you don't have access to one then this plotted sheet is a good option. A calibration done with the sheet is also a good starting point and can be refined in your project work using field calibration.
The sheet comes in two styles:
- cals1 has large target dots and is suited for calibration of video and lower resolution cameras, and
- cals2 has small target dots and is suited for calibration of any camera over 6 megapixels.
