Can I create an exemplar model from an unknown source? |
|
|
In accident reconstruction or similar forensic tasks, where you need to import an accurate model or control points to help solve some unknown photos, the 'exemplar' model (accurate model used as a reference) should come from an accurate source. Generally this exemplar data should come from a calibrated-camera PhotoModeler project or an accurate survey. In most cases you cannot create the exemplar data from photos taken with an unknown camera. See the KB article Can I use photos that aren't from my own camera? for information on Inverse Camera projects. |
