I am using a tablet and pen and the PhotoModeler pointer is not working properly.

PhotoModeler depends heavily on receiving standard mouse movement messages. Many pen/tablet systems do not generate proper mouse movement messages, as Windows would expect. See if your pen/tablet system has a "mouse emulation mode". If this mode does not work either, contact your tablet manufacturers and ask for their technical support, and if the tablet can be made to emulate fully a Microsoft Mouse.
