The Products and Key Dates
- PhotoModeler 2011 and PhotoModeler Scanner 2011 were released Jan. 18, 2011 as upgrades for 2010 customers.
- PhotoModeler 2010 and PhotoModeler Scanner 2010 were released Oct. 28, 2010.
- PhotoModeler Automation was released Jan. 20, 2009. It is a bundle of PhotoModeler 6.3+ with the new RAD coded target module. See Press Release. (Note. PhotoModeler Automation has been deprecated as coded targets are in base PhotoModeler product as of the 2010 release).
- PhotoModeler Scanner was released Apr. 21st, 2008. It resulted from over three years of development into correlation and scanning algorithms. See Press Release.
- PhotoModeler 6 was released Feb. 8th, 2007. It culminates over two years of development from the previous PhotoModeler Pro 5 release and well over a decade since the initial PhotoModeler 1 release in 1993. See Press Release.
High Resolution Press Images
Please find images suitable for publication below. Eos Systems gives permission to reproduce any of these images for the purpose of describing the new PhotoModeler versions. They may be used in conjunction with press releases and feature stories. The images are suitable for printing up to 3 inches at 300 ppi.

PhotoModeler - RAD Targets Close Up
The PhotoModeler Automation Bundle 6.3+ has the new RAD target that provides for greater robustness and speed with automated 3D point measurement. A wider variety of projects, even with noisy images, can be successfully completed. The image shows a photo of some RAD targets in use as well as the offset feature.

What is PhotoModeler? PhotoModeler is a Windows software package for measuring and modeling real world objects and scenes through the use of photographs. Developed by Eos Systems Inc, PhotoModeler is a world leader in its class. PhotoModeler is based on the science of photogrammetry, which means to measure from photographs. PhotoModeler brings the powerful capabilities of photogrammetry in a simple, easy-to-use Windows environment.
What is PhotoModeler Scanner?
PhotoModeler Scanner is an enhanced version of PhotoModeler that adds the capability of scanning surfaces from two or more photos to produce dense point clouds. Somewhat like a laser scanner without the laser.

North American and UK customers can purchase PhotoModeler, PhotoModeler Scanner, the add-on modules, and the upgrades directly from Eos Systems using the PhotoModeler store at www.photomodeler.com/store. Customers in other geographic locations should contact their local reseller.

The retail list price in North America is $1145us for the full PhotoModeler package and the upgrade is $445us (available to owners of any previous version). Overseas resellers may sell for a different price (to account for shipping, duties, and taxes).

The retail list price in North America of PhotoModeler Scanner is $2595us and the upgrade from a previous version is $795us.
