Eos Systems Inc. Announces Beta Release of PhotoModeler Pro 5
Current Pro 4.0 users can download Beta version for free
Vancouver, BC - December 5, 2002 - Eos Systems, the developer of PhotoModeler software and leading photogrammetric technology, announces the release of PhotoModeler Pro 5 Beta, the pre-release of the latest version of the award-winning software program that enables the user to measure and create 3D models from photographs.
PhotoModeler Pro 5 Beta will showcase all of the exciting new features and developments that will be included in Pro 5. Current owners of PhotoModeler Pro 4.0 are welcome to download a free patch and sample the new features. Users can join the Pro 5 Beta Contest for a chance to win a free upgrade to Pro 5.
PhotoModeler Pro is used worldwide for applications including architecture, accident reconstruction, forensics, archaeology, engineering, surveying, film, 3D animation and webpage design. PhotoModeler Pro 5 represents a giant leap forward in the evolution of this powerful measuring and 3D modeling tool. It offers an array of features and capabilities that extend far beyond the realm of those offered by competing software packages at any price. As with previous releases, PhotoModeler Pro 5 will remain very affordable to fit within the budgets of all users.
The new features shown in PhotoModeler Pro 5 Beta include NURBS Surfaces, Sillouette Solids, Improved Exports, fully automated camera calibration software, two add-on modules; PhotoModeler Video (PMV) and Coded Targets, and much more.

PhotoModeler Pro 5 Beta is a 32-bit program that runs on Windows 98, 2000 , NT 4.0(sp3+) and XP. The minimum system requirements are a 350 Mhz Pentium, 32MB free memory, 30MB free hard disk space, and a 800x600 screen with 32,000 colors. To create your own models, a method of capturing images is required: e.g. digital camera, film camera and scanner, or video camera and capture board.
